Indian Coach Law banned for a season

By a Staff Reporter Biratnagar City FC's Indian Coach Yan Law has been handed a season long ban for his actions during the Nepal Super League (NSL) 2021 match against Lalitpur City FC. Organizer of NSL, Nepal Sports and Events Management (NSEM) on Wednesday released a statement after several discussion with All Nepal Football Assocation and review of Match Commissioner's Report. The decision comes after unsportsmanlike conduct from Biratangar dugoutt in Match 19 of Nepal Super League 2021 played on the 8th of May between Lalitpur City FC & Biratnagar City FC. Kathmandu RayZRs crowned Nepal Super League champions

Kathmandu RayZRs Football Club has won the title of inaugural season of Nepal Super League after beating Dhangadhi Football Club by 1-0 in the final played at Dasarath Stadium on Saturday. Messouke Olomou's first half strike proved decisive as the capital outfit kept the title in home soil. Kathmandu had lost previous two encounters against Dhangadhi but top scorer Messouke's goal was the difference in title showdown. Kathmandu bagged Rs. 35 lakhs along with the trophy while Runners Up Dhangadhi settled for Rs. 15 lakhs. Anjan’s winner guides Lalitpur to qualifiers

Skipper Anjan Bista's winner was enough to guide Lalitpur City FC to the second qualifier of Nepal Super League. Lalitpur defeated Butwal Lumbini FC by 1-0 in the eliminator match at Dasarath Stadium on Wednesday. Lalitpur continued their resurgence under caretaker coach Raju Tamang as they registered third consecutive victory. Nigerian Forward Olawale Afeez scored a brace as Dhangadhi Football Club registered first win in the ongoing Nepal Super League (NSL) on Tuesday.
