Said Benrahma Join West Ham on permanent transfer while Lingard deal edges closer

Said Benrahma joined West Ham on Friday morning, with the club confirming the Algerian's permanent transfer from Brentford. He was on a season-long loan with an option to purchase in the summer transfer window. The Hammers had signed Benrahma in October from Championship high flyers Brentford. In order to free up a domestic loan spot to allow them to move for Jesse Lingard of Manchester United, the club brought forward the Algerian international transfer. It is also confirmed that Lingard and his parent club had reached terms with The Hammers late on Thursday night.
