New Diamond crushed hosts Gandaki in a straight set of 3-0 in a third-place match under the women's event at Pokhara Rangashala. New Diamond restricted Gandaki 25-19, 25-16, and 25-16 to finish third in the championship. The defeat means Gandaki Province concluded the championship winless. The NVA received various proposals in an open application process announced a month ago. The proposal submitted by HamroKhelkud.com was approved by the association's executive committee. Roshan Shrestha, the General Secretary of the NVA, announced the decision and stated that the association believes this will not only help NVA financially but also in overall development of the sports.
