Kathmandu – In a stunning turn of events, the low-ranked Friends Club delivered a resounding 4-0 victory over Satdobato in an ongoing Martyr’s Memorial ‘A’ Division League at the ANFA Complex on Thursday.

The emphatic win proved to be a turning point for Friends Club, propelling them out of the relegation zone as they accumulated a total of 24 points, currently positioning them in 12th place, just one spot above the danger of relegation.
Captain Torric Jebrin showcased exceptional performance, contributing a brace to Friends Club’s triumph, while Rafiq Aminu and Prakash Budhathoki also made their mark by scoring a goal each.
Friends Club demonstrated their dominance from the very beginning by opening the scoring just 25 seconds into the match, courtesy of Raqif Aminu’s swift strike. This early lead set the tone for their commanding performance.
Prakash Budhathoki further solidified Friends Club’s advantage by netting a goal in the 55th minute, effectively doubling their lead. Torric Jebrin then stepped up and extended their lead to an impressive four goals by finding the back of the net twice, in the 87th and 90th minutes respectively.
Satdobato, unfortunately, had to play without their regular goalkeeper, Abishek Baral, who was sidelined due to injury. Making his debut appearance for Satdobato, Top Bahadur Rana endured a forgettable match as he conceded all four goals.
