Kathamndu – Swostishree Sports Academy (SSA), a subsidiary of Swostishree Gurkul IB World School celebrated its first anniversary on Saturday.
The academy organized an event at Lalitpur Thakali Kitchen in Kumaripati to celebrate its anniversary. With a motive of developing grassroots football Swostishree Sports Academy was established back on December 2021. The Academy aims to provide quality football skills to its students. Further, the prime goal of the academy is to produce good footballers in the near future.
SSA provides weekend football training to players aged below 18 at Budhibikas Khel Maidan in Lalitpur. The academy has more than 150+ registered players to date.
The first anniversary of SSA was graced by Swostishree Gurkul’s Founder Chairperson Ramkrishna Chitrakar, Managing Director Mina Maharjan, Resource Coordinator Tashi Maharjan, Football Ambassador Anil Gurung, coaching staffs, students, and guardians.
The newly elected Member of the Provincial Assembly and School’s founder chairperson Ramkrishna Chitrakar congratulated the SSA family for achieving a milestone during the event. In addition, he extended his best wishes to the SSA for more success in the days to come.
